We are the Aeolus Vocal Trio: an interdisciplinary ensemble consisting of three young vocalists with a background in classical singing, improvisation, and physical acting. Our performances are based on the unique method Musicality of Movement (developed by Virág Dezső). Our work lies at the intersection of musical and physical expression. In addition, our compositions are created in real time. With this, we break open conventional forms of ensemble singing into intuitive, physical, and in the moment composed creations.

The trio consists of soprano Madeline Saputra, who is completing her master’s at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and mezzo-sopranos Femke Hulsman and Stefanie Bruggeling, who will soon graduate from the Dutch National Opera Academy. The trio is coached by Virág Dezső. She is a contemporary mime artist and artistic director of MAPA (Moving Academy for Performing Arts).
